Acrylic, oil pastel & pencil on raw canvas

Inspired by the vibrant energy of a blooming garden, this work explores colour, movement, and the warmth of light through flowing abstract forms. Layers of bright, joyful tones move gently across the canvas, creating a sense of softness, playfulness, and quiet delight.

Balancing energy with calm, the piece invites a moment of pause and presence within the home. Small in scale yet expressive in feeling, it brings warmth, light, and a sense of ease to the space around it.

Finalist for the Judges’ Choice Award in the Sequels Galleries Art Prize.

This is one of my earlier abstract works. At the time, I had not yet begun painting the edges, so this piece has unpainted sides and is best displayed framed.
